If you tuned in to CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 last night, you may have seen some familiar local scenes. Reporter Randi Kaye was in town attempting to speak to Dan Busch, the chiropractor who hosted a mask exemption event at his Venice office last month. Because of the volume of exemption forms signed by Busch that flowed in to schools—and because chiropractors are not medical doctors—Sarasota County Schools officials announced they would only accept exemption forms from MDs, DOs and nurse practitioners.

Last weekend, another exemption event took place at The Hollow, a wedding venue in Venice. Two local doctors were present signing forms. According to CNN, more than 1,200 people reportedly attended, including Busch and Michael Flynn, former national security adviser to President Donald Trump, who now lives in Boca Royale.
