Waste Pro is marking the official opening of its Manatee County recycling facility at 7921 15th St. E., Sarasota, with a ribbon-cutting 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8. The company's new facility will be able to process more than 2,000 tons of recyclable goods and will be managed by a staff of 20 local employees. Headquartered in Longwood, Florida, Waste Pro serves more than 2 million residential and commercial customers in more than 75 locations.
