Let's Look at the Beautiful Spaces on the Junior League of Sarasota's Annual Tour of Homes

It's here—the time of year when you don't have to pose as a well-heeled buyer to get access to gorgeous area homes, but instead can openly ogle them with a group of other obsessives.
That's right: This weekend is the Junior League of Sarasota's annual Tour of Homes. From a pecky cypress abode with circus history to a midcentury modern masterpiece by Seibert Architects, the Junior League's 48th Simply Sarasota Tour of Homes takes place Feb. 21 and 22, offering the public the chance to get up close and personal with the area's most fetching addresses.
This year, the six-home lineup covers Siesta Key, Arlington Park, West of the Trail on Hudson Bay and South Gate. All of the homes—which hail from different corners of the design world—will show off trends in architecture, textiles, furniture, color and finishes. Elements we love include palm tree wallpaper, a two-story library with a secret staircase, turn-of-the-century native wood, unique light fixtures, and come-hither pools and water views. The tour will also include live music, art demonstrations, pop-up shops, light bites, a silent auction, wine tastings, a happy hour and more.
Let's take a look at what's in store.
