To celebrate the official first day of summer, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, which is located near the University Town Center mall, will be offering free scoops to customers from 7 to 10 p.m. on Monday, June 21.

Jeni's shops typically offer free scoops when they open for business, but the Covid-19 pandemic prevented the local Jeni's from doing so when it opened in February. In addition to the free ice cream, expect to find some summer swag, too. The shop will be closed on Monday before the big bash to get ready.

If you haven't yet tried Jeni's, I'd highly recommend it at any time. A free scoop is just added motivation.
