Polpo Pizza Co.'s "bee sting" pizza

Now that Wednesday's Phillippi Farmhouse Market has returned after its summer hiatus, we can finally get back to a favorite tradition: scarfing down a piping hot Polpo Pizza Co. pie for lunch. The truck's iconic "bee sting" pizza includes a generous dose of spicy cured pork, as well as a drizzle of spiced olive oil and honey. Yowza.

Coral House's Dork burger ($11) is served on a fresh soft brioche bun smeared with a spicy house-made spread are piled two patties made with ground pork and duck, caramelized onions, bacon, red onion rings, lettuce and tomato. Dill pickle on the side. Heavenly. On the Sunday brunch menu at the new Coral House. You want this burger, but be warned--it is very filling. And satisfying.

At the new Shilla Korean Restaurant on Beneva Road, our go-to order is the No. 7, seafood pajeon ($15). It's a Korean-style pancake with crisp yet tender mixed seafood, veggies and scallions. Order it; you won't be disappointed.

The fried green tomato salad ($6.99 for a small; $9.99 for a large) at Owen's Fish Camp is one of our favorite ways to start a meal: two perfectly fried green tomatoes are served atop fresh romaine lettuce with creamy goat cheese, salty country ham chips and a flavorful buttermilk dressing.

MADE's Sunday brunch is famous for a reason, and you can't go wrong with the tomato and avocado Benedict ($12), which features English muffins topped with charred tomato, ripe avocado, poached eggs and Bernaise, served with pork (get the Billionaire bacon, trust us) and a choice of seasonal fruit or potato. Filling, delicious and totally indulgent.
