SRQ Airport to Close Ahead of Hurricane Idalia

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport will close Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. and plans to reopen Aug. 30 at 8 a.m.

As Hurricane Idalia approaches Florida's coast, Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) has announced that it will close to all air traffic and the terminal will be locked and secured beginning at 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 29.
SRQ plans to reopen at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Aug. 30, pending damage assessment from the storm. If you have travel plans, check directly with your airline for the latest flight information.
