Hurricane Ian has devastated much of Florida and overturned many lives. In moments like these, we are reminded that no matter how tough, no matter how well prepared we might think we are, we must rely on one another to make it through.

Sarasota Magazine wants to acknowledge those who have stepped up and helped others. Whether it’s clearing fallen trees, taking in those who needed shelter or just having an uplifting attitude, we want to know who you think has gone above and beyond to help their neighbors and their community.

Please send us photos, videos and a short description of people who you believe deserve recognition for their selfless efforts during and after the storm. Feel free to DM us on Instagram @sarasotamagazine or on Twitter @SarasotaMagazin (no e!), leave a comment on Facebook, or fill out the form below. We'll share the stories and photos in an upcoming story and on our social media outlets.

Please do not use this as an opportunity to simply promote your business.
