Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation recently received a $100,000 donation from Eliza Perlmutter Culverhouse to support the Emergency Care Center (ECC) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The gift was made to honor Culverhouse’s son-in-law, Dr. Marshall Frank, and the staff at the ECC, which consists of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, emergency medicine pharmacists, trauma surgeons, subspecialists, and trauma and emergency care nurses who provide life-saving treatment and interventions around-the-clock. Through healthcare foundation donors, grants are able to provided for critical equipment, education and more.
