College Picks New Vice President

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota recently hired Scott Parke as its new vice president of planning and institutional effectiveness.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota recently hired Scott Parke as its new vice president of planning and institutional effectiveness. Parke will lead information technology services, research analysis and institutional planning and effectiveness. He serves as the college's accreditation officer and leads improvement initiatives. He came to State College from Collin College in Texas, where he was the vice president of policy and planning. Before moving to Florida in 2012, Parke served as the senior director for research and policy studies for the Illinois Community College Board.
