The Sarasota County Council of Neighborhood Associations is hosting a town hall on surplus lands policies and how they may be changed to assure protection of valued community land while making appropriate decisions about development and preservation. You can find information about county surplus lands here. The Council of Neighborhood Associations event begins with a social period at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 10; the town hall begins at 7. The meeting takes place at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota.
