Sarasota County was recently ranked third in health outcomes and second in health factors in the state of Florida in a new listing released by the University of Wisconsin and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. To compile the rankings, researchers examined length of life, quality of life, health behaviors, clinical care, socioeconomic factors and the physical environment. Manatee County ranked 21st for both health outcomes and factors.
