United Way Suncoast has added two community leaders to its Sarasota area board of directors: Jessica Blume and Richard Rueger. Blume has been a C-level partner and board member at Deloitte LLP, the world’s largest professional services organization. She has assisted United Way in developing both national and local strategies. Rueger joined FCCI Insurance Group in January 1989 and currently serves as senior vice president, leading the marketing, business development and strategy team.  Both will be involved in advancing United Way Suncoast’s strategic plan.

 Last year, United Way Suncoast invested more than $1.8 million into the Sarasota region, helping residents achieve  home ownership and assisting those struggling to meet basic needs.
