Daus Investments, LLC purchased the Inn at Midtown, formerly the Best Western Midtown, located at 1425 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, from Midho, LLP for $6.5 million. Jag Grewal, Amy MacDougall and Sean Dreznin of Ian Black Real Estate handled the transaction. The hotel, which is located across from Midtown Plaza and Sarasota Memorial Hospital, represents Daus Investments’ first acquisition in the downtown Sarasota market. The Inn at Midtown features 99 rooms, an outdoor pool and 24-hour guest services.
Richard A. A. Martin Revocable Trust purchased City Storage, a 185-unit storage facility located at 1746 10th Way, Sarasota, from Biter Building LLC for $1.7 million. Ian Black, Steve Horn and Melissa Harris of Ian Black Real Estate handled the transaction.
Ryan Perrone of Nautilus Homes purchased 7126 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota, from SCDMH Sarasota Care, LLC for $560,000. The property consists of 27,135 square feet of vacant land. Nautilus Homes plans to relocate its primary place of business to this location.
