ABA Academy, an academy for children with autism and other disabilities, will open a new facility at 7555 Claxstrauss Drive, Sarasota, this fall. The 5,000-square-foot building will be built by Jon F. Swift Construction, which has more than 35 years of experience building local schools. The new building will have attributes that offer a comfortable environment for learning, including adjustable lighting throughout the facility to accommodate children with specific sensory issues and color-coded walls allowing children to easily identify classrooms and associate specific classrooms with certain teachers.
