Glenmorangie Single Malt Dinner at State Street

State Street Eating House + Cocktails is hosting a dinner that is sure to keep spirits high. Each of the four courses will be accompanied by a spectacular aged whiskey. Some menu items include smoked duck, roasted mustard wild boar chop and caramelized pear compote. One Night Rodeo Concert and Food Truck Rally

Head to Big Top Brewing Company for a free live performance from One Night Rodeo and food from more than eight different food trucks. One Night Rodeo is a country duo from Bradenton that has performed with Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and many more famous artists. Food ranges from deli style to authentic gumbo. Admission is free.

Blue + You Community BBQ With Sarasota Police Department

Sunday, Jan. 12

Join the Sarasota Police Department at this free barbecue event at Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex this Sunday. The event is an opportunity for Sarasota residents to meet their local police officers. The event will include free food, beverages, face painting and family-friendly games and prizes.

Sarasota Bartender Chili Cookoff

Made is hosting the first annual Bartender Chili Cookoff. Grab a great bowl of chili and a signature cocktail pairing. If you’re up for a spicy challenge, try your hand at the Dragon Spit Death Chili Challenge. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Child Protection Center.
