Five-O Donut Co is coming to south Sarasota. Christine Nordstrom, who opened the original Five-O in downtown Sarasota last May, is planning to open a second location at 7119 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, in September. The new shop will carry similar doughnuts to those at the existing location and will be open seven days a week.

The new shop is part of an aggressive expansion plan. According to a press release, Nordstrom expects to open several new locations within the next three years in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Brandon, Charlotte County, Fort Myers, Naples and Orlando. "The sky is really the limit," Nordstrom said, according to the press release. "As long as people love us and support us, we will build and create more Five-Os."
