Federal Aviation Administration Transfers Operations to New Sarasota Airport Tower
A total of 34 Federal Aviation Administration employees work at the new Sarasota Bradenton International Airport facility.
The Federal Aviation Administration transferred operations to its new air traffic control tower at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport early Saturday morning. The 128-foot-tall tower includes a 525-square-foot control space. A total of 34 Aviation Administration employees work at the new facility—20 in air traffic and 14 in technical operations, which maintains electronic equipment in the tower and on the airfield.
