The William G. and Marie Selby Foundation recently awarded more than $1.3 million in grants to 20 nonprofit organizations which provide local communities with much needed services. The grants awarded this spring will support a number of areas including  technology, education, transportation, environment, ADA accessibility, health and human services, community and facilities. The recipients are Easter Seals Southwest Florida, The Hermitage Artist Retreat, Hershorin Schiff Day Schools of Tomorrow, Horizons Unlimited Christian Academy, Lutheran Ministries of Florida, Manasota Solve, Inc., Mote Marine Laboratory, Peace River Botanical and Sculpture Gardens, Inc., Salvation Army of Bradenton, Stillpoint Mission, The Bay Park Conservancy, UnidosNow, United Way South Sarasota County, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe and WSLR Inc.
