Take a Break and Scroll Through the Winners of Selby Gardens' Juried Photographic Exhibition

Nearly 250 entries were submitted as part of this year's competition, with photos capturing unique moments across the gardens' downtown and Historic Spanish Point campuses.

Give your eyes a break from the news cycle today and scroll through the winners of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens’ 46th annual Juried Photographic Exhibition instead.

Nearly 250 entries were submitted as part of this year's competition, with photos capturing unique moments across Selby Gardens' downtown and Historic Spanish Point campuses. 

Alma Groome's Bee Enveloped in a Flower won Best in Show.

The winning images were recognized with awards, including the new Richard and Ellen Sandor prize, which awards $5,000 to the photo showcasing the most comepelling representation of Selby Gardens' world-renowned orchid collection.  This year, the prize went to Stan Jernigan for If the Slipper Fits; Alma Groome received the award for "Best in Show" for her Bee Enveloped in a Flower.  

Additional awards for first place were given in each of the five exhibition categories:
