All Faiths Food Bank to Hold Monthly Food Distributions at Van Wezel
Hundreds of community members received frozen turkeys, side dishes and bouquets of flowers in advance of Thanksgiving through a distribution at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in 2020.

In 2020—due to the economic fallout from Covid-19—All Faiths Food Bank distributed 60 percent more meals than 2019, with a 53 percent increase in new clients at food distributions. The number of users visiting the organization’s website to find food increased by more than 360 percent.
To help those who are continuing to struggle to put food on the table, All Faiths is partnering with The Bay Sarasota and Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for monthly, large-scale food distributions at the hall on the fourth Saturday of each month through October. The first takes place April 24 from 9-11:00 a.m.; food—including frozen meat, fresh fruits and vegetables—is first-come, first-served and pre-registration is not required.
