Van Wezel Announces Holiday Season Lineup

Summer heat got you dreaming of cooler winter days? Here's something to look forward to: the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall's holiday lineup, which includes a Sarasota debut from a Broadway legend, a Taylor Swift tribute and some high-flying circus stunts.
The holiday season kicks off in November with The Phil Collins Story on Nov. 5, followed by Neil Berg's The '70s: Long Live Rock 'n' Roll on Nov. 12 and Blank Space: The Unofficial Taylor Swift Tribute on Nov. 13.
On Nov. 23, get ready to laugh at The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical, followed by the group show Home for the Holidays on Nov. 27, with performances by All-4-One, Sheena Easton, Ruben Studdard and Lindsey Webster.
Dave Koz returns to the Van Wezel on Dec. 3 with his Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour 2026, and Tony- and Grammy Award-winning Broadway star Leslie Odom Jr.—best-known for originating the role of Aaron Burr in Hamilton—makes his Sarasota debut in a one-night-only performance on Dec. 14.
On Dec. 20, Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland brings its high-flying show—think: acrobatics, aerials and holiday music—to town, and A Very Broadway Christmas follows, featuring veteran performers who've starred in Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, The Book of Mormon, Matilda and more. Jim Brickman's Christmas Celebration Live is next, on Dec. 22, with A Christmas Carol—Dickens' classic tale of a miser who learns the true meaning of Christmas—capping off the holiday week on Dec. 23.

Rounding out the year: a capella group Straight No Chaser's "Making Spirits Bright" tour on Dec. 28; Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet on Dec. 29; and Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert on Dec. 30, featuring the Strauss Symphony of America performing with European singers, ballet dancers and international ballroom dancers, just in time to ring in 2027.
