Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has received a gift from Deb Kabinoff to launch the Deb Kabinoff Media Center at the gardens. The gift—an undisclosed amount—will allow Selby Gardens to continue producing virtual programs to connect with key constituents. The media center will provide the equipment and platforms necessary for producing engaging and professional virtual programs. Launched in response to the pandemic, attendance for Selby Gardens’ virtual programs—such as lectures, special events, school tours, and “Grow Where You’re Planted” monthly virtual videos—has nearly doubled that of attendance at in-person programs.
