Barancik Foundation Grants $3 Million for Health and Human Services Needs

Fourteen organizations were awarded portions of the grant.

A $3 million grant from the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation will go toward local health and human service providers, supporting child mentorship and education programs, affordable health care and workforce opportunities. A total of 14 organizations have received anywhere from $75,000 to $405,000 in grant money.

To address children's needs, organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, UnidosNow, Florida Prepaid Scholarships, the Hershorin Schiff Community Day School and more received funding.

To address health and environment issues, organizations like CenterPlace Health, Planned Parenthood, Operation Warrior Resolution and more were granted funding.
