Jane Goodwin, the most recent past chair of the Sarasota County School Board, has been named the president of the Florida School Boards Association (FSBA) for the 2020-2021 operational year. Previously, Goodwin served as FSBA’s president-elect for the 2019-2020 operational year, and has also served the organization as chair of its legislative committee. Founded in 1930, the FSBA is a nonprofit corporation representing the elected school boards in each of Florida's 67 counties.
