The Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s has exceeded its goal for investments to jump-start implementation of its new earned-income plan, raising $142,850 with a $50,000 match from the Patterson Foundation. Neuro Challenge Foundation is participating in the Patterson Foundation's Margin & Mission Ignition initiative, which gives organizations the opportunity to explore and develop entrepreneurial principles that strengthen their mission and impact. Nonprofits are selected to participate in the 30-month planning and implementation process after a months-long application period. Through the initiative, Neuro Challenge Foundation is receiving consultation on strategies to increase revenue from No Margin, No Mission, a social enterprise and national consulting firm engaged by the Patterson Foundation. Beyond the $50,000 match, the Patterson Foundation is investing $25,000 in Neuro Challenge Foundation to help it develop earned-income strategies.
