The Sarasota Young Professionals Group last week announced the three finalists for its 2018 Young Professional of the Year Award: Rachel Denton, communications and voter outreach manager for the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections; Ashley Light, development coordinator at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee; and Kelly Romanoff, project manager for the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation. The winner will be announced at the organization's young professionals summit, which will be held 8 a.m.-noon Friday, Aug. 10, at The Westin, 1175 N. Gulfstream Ave., Sarasota. Tickets are $60-$75.
