The Sarasota Young Professionals Group, a program of The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, is hosting its third annual young professionals summit from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 10, at The Westin, 1175 N. Gulfstream Ave., Sarasota. The conference is intended to help young professionals develop as leaders in the community. The event will also include the announcement of the organization's Young Professional of the Year; Voalte founder and CEO Trey Lauderdale will serve as keynote speaker, discussing the balance between work and life. Tickets are $60-$75.
