Sarasota's Star2Star Communications, a cloud communications company, announced Wednesday a $500 million merger with Blueface, a European communications company based in Dublin, Ireland. The new company, StarBlue, will together have a global workforce of more than 500. Founded in 2006, Star2Star offers unified business communications, including voice, video, fax, mobile, chat and more. Founded in 2004, Blueface's proprietary cloud voice platform services business customers of all sizes.
