The Humane Society of Sarasota County recently selected the commercial construction company J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. and the architecture firm Leader Design Studio to design and build a shelter expansion project. J.E. Charlotte Construction and Leader Design Studio are currently assisting the nonprofit with architectural and pre-construction services. The Humane Society hopes to create a world-class adoption center and enlarge its animal shelter to better accommodate animals and expand its veterinary services.
