The Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation recently hired John Annis as senior vice president of collaboration and impact. Annis has served as senior vice president for community investment at the Community Foundation of Sarasota County since 2012. The majority of Annis' professional experience comes from more than 24 years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the military in 2002. The Barancik Foundation has awarded $27 million in grants since its 2014 inception.
