Sixty-nine percent of Americans plan to shop or are considering shopping over Thanksgiving weekend, according to new survey results published by the National Retail Federation. That portion includes shoppers who plan to spend on Cyber Monday, the Monday after the Thanksgiving weekend. Twenty percent of survey respondents said they plan to shop on Thanksgiving Day, 70 percent on Black Friday, 43 percent on Saturday, 21 percent on Sunday and 48 percent on Monday. The survey, which asked 7,439 consumers about their shopping plans, was conducted Oct. 31-Nov. 7.
