The Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association is presenting its annual Chapter Awards and Board Installation from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Sophie’s at Saks, 120 University Town Center Drive, Sarasota. Tickets, which include lunch, are $25 for association members and $35 for guests. Honors to be presented include the Rising Star Award, the Promoting the Profession Award, the Ginnie Duffey-Troyer Professionalism Award and the Member of the Year award. Register online.
