Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Announces 2022 Board Executive Committee

Theย Florida Restaurant and Lodging Associationย (FRLA)ย recently announced the installation of its 2022 board of directors executive committee, which includes Anna Maria Oyster Bar owner John Horne, who will serve as vice-chair. The mission of the FRLA is to protect, educate, and promote Florida's hospitality industry, a $112 billion industry with 1.5 million employees pre-Covid.
In addition to Horne, the other executive committee members are Olivia Hoblit, chair, regional manager for Innisfree Hotels, Amelia Island; Roger Amidon, lodging director and secretary/treasurer, general manager for Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa; Barbara Bowden, lodging director, area managing director for Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando; Nick Sarra, restaurant director, COO of Saltwater Restaurants Inc.; Carlos Gazitua, restaurant director, president and CEO of Sergioโs Family Restaurants, Miami; and Jim Shirley, immediate past chairman, Chef Jim Shirley Enterprises, Santa Rosa Beach.
