The Suncoast chapter of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association is hosting a presentation on how to connect your business to millennials on Wednesday, July 12. The presentation will be delivered by Dave Reid, the chief operating officer for World of Beer Franchising, Inc., and is titled “How to Connect Your Business with the Largest and Wealthiest Generation Ever.” A former chairman of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, Reid worked for 21 years as the executive vice president of Miller’s Ale House Restaurants, overseeing 70 locations, with over 6,000 employees in 10 states. The presentation begins at 9:15 a.m. with registration and networking; Reid's talk begins at 10. The event takes place at the Holiday Inn Sarasota-Lakewood Ranch, 6231 Lake Osprey Drive, Sarasota. Registration is $20 for members and $24 for non-members.
