Nathan Benderson Park will host the USRowing Youth National Championships June 9-11. The championships serve as the premier junior rowing event in the United States. The event is expected to draw approximately 1,700 athletes competing in more than 370 crews, representing more than 150 teams from across the country, all vying for national titles in 18 boat classes. In 2015, the park hosted the USRowing Youth Nationals, which brought in 1,993 participants and 4,991 spectators to the Sarasota and Bradenton area.
