State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota recently hired Lou Woroch as its director of finance and controller. Woroch, who has more than 20 years of finance experience, was previously the assistant director of finance and has served as acting director and controller since September 2016. Woroch came to Florida from Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia, where he served as assistant controller. He is a certified public accountant in the states of Florida and New Jersey and has worked as an external auditor of nonprofits for over nine years.
