All this week, Ringling College of Art and Design's motion design department is suspending its core classes to open up workshops to prepare students to enter the competitive industry after graduation. The week covers numerous topics, including résumé building, writing cover letters, interviewing techniques and portfolio reviews. Guest speakers and industry leaders are attending and presenting their insights and experiences breaking into and succeeding in the motion design industry. Guest speakers include Jeremy Cox, Emmy-winning Ringling graduate and creative director at Imaginary Forces; Michael Waldron, Emmy-winning senior vice president at Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite and TVLand; and more.
