Presidential Medal of Freedom-winning historian David McCullough will be the featured guest at the Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s 2017 Better Together luncheon, held 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at The Ritz-Carlton, 1111 Ritz Carlton Drive, Sarasota. The best-selling author will cover topics such as civility, leadership and innovation while discussing how great people make great communities in a conversation with foundation president and CEO Mark Pritchett. A book signing with McCullough will follow the event. Tickets are $75.
