Rowing Park Hosts One-Year-Out Event for World Championships
The team organizing the 2017 World Rowing Championships will mark one year from the beginning of the event during its One Year Kick-Off event on Friday.

The team organizing the 2017 World Rowing Championships will mark one year from the beginning of the event during its One Year Kick-Off event held 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota. Local officials will be joined by 2016 Olympics rowing gold medalist Amanda Polk. The championships run Sept. 23-Oct. 1 next fall.
