dVisit Sarasota County is partnering with stores and shopping districts for Shoptember, a month-long promotion intended to encourage retail business during a typically slow month for tourist traffic. Stores and districts will offer a variety of deals and specials during the promotion. Shopping districts in the area include St. Armands Circle, Lakewood Ranch, the Mall at University Town Center, Venice Main Street and the Shoppes at Sarasota Row in downtown.
