Mirabella, a community of paired villas in Bradenton, and Synergy Building Corp. recently earned the LEED for Homes Platinum certification. To receive LEED certification, each building earns points to achieve different levels of certification. Points are accrued in five green design categories: sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources and indoor environmental quality. The number of points the project earns determines its level of LEED certification.
