The Suncoast Technology Forum will offer a luncheon presentation on "Technology Opportunities in Government Programs" from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, at Polo Bar and Grill, 10670 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch. Kirk Burton will deliver a presentation on government contracting and discuss the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Research programs, which have helped tens of thousands of small businesses fund and develop new technologies using a phased approach. Burton is the director of research and engineering for StarTec, a Pinellas County small business accelerator.
