The Manatee County NAACP installed a new team of officers at its May meeting, including new president Rodney Jones.
The Manatee County NAACP installed a new team of officers at its May meeting, following the resignation of president Susie Copeland. Rodney Jones will serve as president of the chapter for the duration of the current term, Tarnisha Cliatt will serve as vice president and the remaining officers—secretary Rita Smith and treasurer Cornelle Maxfield—will continue in their current roles. Jones has a history of service in Manatee County and currently serves as the community coordinator for Bradenton Village’s resident services.
