Only in Sarasota: The Cooney House
John Pirman illustrates an elegant Sarasota School of Architecture home--the Cooney House.

Built in 1967 for local attorney Dick Cooney, the Cooney House was designed by architect Tim Seibert, who had a budget of $38,000 and the challenge of a 50-foot-wide lot. “Tim rose to the occasion,” says illustrator John Pirman, “designing a perfectly proportioned house that’s elegant and timeless.” New owners have recently restored the home and added a sculpture by Rob Lorenson in front.
