Following record-breaking cash sales, the median single-family home sale price rose by 3.9 percent, to $530,000, in Sarasota County, but the condo market in both counties experienced declines.
Part of the long-awaited One Park project, One Park West condos will be among the most affordable in the Quay and range from roughly $1 million to $3 million.

"It’s a great time for both sides because prices are still high, which is good for sellers, and buyers can be more selective because they have more options and time,” says Mara Daniel, a local realty broker.
A partnership between Michael Saunders and Mark Vengroff will see 48 workforce housing units rise near Payne Park. Roughly 20 will be earmarked for law enforcement workers.
