April's Top Sale: $6 Million for a Harbor Acres Estate
A 6,000-square-foot bayfront estate in exclusive Harbor Acres has sold for $6 million, making it the highest West of Trail sale in six months, according to selling agent Peter Laughlin of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
Roger Pettingell of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent for the four-bedroom, four-bath home at 1372 Harbor Drive, which was originally listed for $7 million in January 2016. The Mediterranean-style residence took a year to build and was finished in 2008, and has such luxury design elements as arched African mahogany front doors and a huge Swarovski crystal chandelier.
“No stone was left unturned in the design and construction of this architectural masterpiece,” Pettingell said about the home at the time. “Every element, from features and finishes to room flow and orientation, was thoroughly considered before being finalized. You realize it from the moment you enter—everything just feels right.”
It was a very good April for Pettingell; including the Harbor Acres home, he had a record $17 million in closed sales.
