Willis Smith Construction recently broke ground on Suncoast Technical College's North Port campus and the Shannon Staub Public Library, a two-story joint-use facility. The property will include a culinary program with a kitchen adjacent to the conference center and will offer accounting, business management, carpentry, industrial maintenance and nursing education. The Shannon Staub Library will include a multimedia collection of both print and digital, with meeting and study rooms. The projected cost for all components of the facility is $25.3 million.
