Patra Jordan's jewelry caught my eye one day while I was scrolling on Instagram. I instantly loved her impeccable and innovative designs. Jordan is originally from Bangkok, grew up in Los Angeles and now lives in Sarasota. She creates handcuff necklaces, hoop earrings with pearls and bracelets that look like paper clips. Her tagline is "Where classy meets edgy,” and that description is spot-on.

“I’ve always been passionate about fashion and design since a very young age," says Jordan. "I took a few courses in jewelry designing during college and it really sparked an interest for creating my own pieces to match my style."

Jordan began designing jewelry about six years ago after trying to find luxury fashion jewelry that she could wear daily with her high-fashion pieces.

"I got started by drawing a few ideas for earrings and bracelets in my free time," says Jordan. "I wasn’t really thinking about making my own jewelry line at the time. I would doodle when I was bored. Then it somehow just clicked while I was shopping for cute jewelry to wear—why not just create my own?"

All of Jordan’s jewelry is crafted from high-grade materials, including hypoallergenic, surgical-grade stainless steel and copper. Her jewelry also includes gems and pearls. Each piece is intended to last a lifetime and is finished with an invisible protective coating that prevents oxidation and tarnishing.

You can purchase her jewelry on her website, or find it at Sarasota's Blend Fashion HouseHer pieces have appeared in Maybelline makeup ads and have also been seen on TV. To keep up with what she's making, follow her on Instagram, where she regularly features new creations.

“I can see my brand and me growing so much in the next five years," says Jordan. "I love seeing my products in local boutiques around Sarasota and I have major plans to do more pop-up events all around the Sarasota area."
