The University Town Center area is welcoming its newest addition today: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. The fine dining steak joint originated in California in the late 1990s and opened its first Sarasota location in 2004 on Siesta Drive. Its second Sarasota location opens today, Feb. 10, near The Shoppes at University Center, where Ruby Tuesday once was.
Guests can expect the same menu as the Fleming’s in mid-Sarasota, which includes steaks, à la carte sides, seafood entrées and the best fried onion rings around. The University Town Center location, however, will also offer caviar service, wagyu options and chef specialties. The new Fleming’s also promises nightly live music from area musicians.
“We are thrilled to bring a piece of our heritage to University Town Center while embracing the city’s vibrant coastal energy,” said Fleming's president Sheilina Henry in a press release. “We hope to build even deeper connections with our guests through culinary excellence and engaging experiences.”
The new restaurant showcases an open-concept dining room, and reminds guests that its wine bar is as important as its steaks, illustrated by an enormous glass vault filled with 2,500 bottles. The new spot also features three private dining rooms and will be open for lunch and dinner, beginning at 11 a.m. daily.
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar opens today, Feb. 10 at 8306 Tourist Center Drive, Bradenton. For more information, call (941) 536-0774, or click here.
