An Italian-inspired restaurant, called Acqua Pazza, has opened in Downtown Wellen Park. The new restaurant, owned by D&D Restaurant Group, which also operates the neighboring Banyan House restaurant, can accommodate 150 guests in its dining room, where the decor is inspired by the Amalfi Coast.

“Acqua Pazza completes Downtown Wellen’s dining scene and its incredible first phase,” Rick Severance, president of Wellen Park, said in a press release. “Residents have really embraced Downtown Wellen as their go-to place for dining, shopping, outdoor recreation and time with family and friends.”

Acqua Pazza is open for lunch and dinner and specializes in pasta, bread and homemade sauces. The restaurant promises a seasonal menu with permanent staples like lasagna, lobster ravioli and ossobuco.

Downtown Wellen Park has added several new restaurants recently, including Louie's Bistro, Lakeside Bites and local chain Oak & Stone.

Acqua Pazza is open seven days a week beginning at 11:30 a.m. at 19750 Wellen Park Blvd., Ste. D, Venice. For more information call (941) 244-5147 or click here.
